Vacation Service for Dogs $90

$90 per calendar day

 

Vacation services are billed by calendar days. 1/2 charges apply if we start/end before/after 2 pm for any dog(s) in our care.



We offer 2 different services for dog pet sitting.

1.    Your dog(s) can stay in the comfort of their own home and an Active Paws caretaker will provide multiple visits for your animal(s). The time of each visit and feedings are dictated by you prior to your departure.  We will visit no less than 3 times per day but prefer to check on your animals 4 times per day.

2.    Your dog(s) can stay in our home. This means they will be staying with other dogs, as we have 4 dogs. We only take 3 dogs into our home at one time. This affords better safety and a less stressful environment for your animal friends and ours. Often your dogs are brought to walk with us for our normally scheduled dog walks based on their temperament and level of care needed. 

*All service options listed above are the same rate. All services include normal care for your pets such as feedings, fresh water, plenty of walks, cuddles on the couch, oral medication administration if they are taking any and general "we are you when you are away" attention.

*Active Paws cannot accept dog sitting jobs if other parties whether family or friends will be caring for the animals as this poses a liability and insurance risk. We would appreciate the opportunity to have 100% responsibility for the safety and care of your animals.

Weekend Charge $5

Please add $5 to all our services should you need them on a weekend day such as Saturday or Sunday

Additional Dog $15
What is considered an "additional dog"? Any dogs that live in the same house as one another are eligible for the additional dog discount. The discount only applies if a client owns more than one dog, their roommate has a dog, or a couple living together each own a dog.  It does not apply to any dog visiting the home of the client. If you require service for an additional dog that is visiting your home we are more than happy to try to accommodate your request, however, a client info sheet, as well as contract, must be completed.  The visiting dog must pay the full charge for the service provided at the time of the visit.



Holiday Charge $10

There is a $10 additional charge for New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
